Community price on backpack.tf: 7.70–8.05 keys, last changed 2026-05-05 (5mo ago). The live quote above, 9.00 keys, is 17% higher and last moved 11d ago. They are different measures: the quote is what traders and bots are asking and bidding on the classifieds right now, and it moves for thousands of items every day; the community price is a suggestion accepted by vote, which changes only when someone argues it should. A quote well away from the vote is usually a price that is about to be re-argued. Community prices from backpack.tf, read 1h ago.
1 sold on the Steam Community Market in the 24 hours to 2026-10-07 04:11 UTC (6d ago), listed there as “Charred Chainmail”. That is a different market from the prices above: Steam takes roughly 15% and pays out in Steam wallet funds rather than cash, so its prices sit above what an item realises elsewhere. Volume is unavailable for unusuals — Steam’s name for one leaves out the effect, so every effect shares a single listing.

The key axis converts at today's rate. Prices are recorded in metal, so a line that is flat in keys followed the key rate rather than standing still.
